Model updater controller. Performs sheduling of specific model updates based on tracked model changes. Allows to add a well-defined update scenarios that are being executed asynchronously to the triggering model changes The IModelUpdaterController use used strictly to schedule some processing tasks back to the asynchronous pipeline and not to execute them

    • configureContextCollector

      void configureContextCollector(IModelUpdaterConfigurationAcceptor configurationAcceptor)
      Configures model updater using a provided IModelUpdaterConfigurationAcceptor instance. A developer can specify a pattern of triggering model changes using EClass'es and features of the change event
      Parameters:
      configurationAcceptor - The configuration data acceptor. Cannot be null

    • schedule

      void schedule(ModelUpdaterContext topObjectContext, IBmModel model, org.eclipse.core.runtime.IProgressMonitor progressMonitor)
      Schedules an update based on model changes being collected using the collection rule defined in configureContextCollector(IModelUpdaterConfigurationAcceptor)
      Parameters:
      topObjectContext - A top object updater context. Contains processed target changes of a main model. Cannot be null
      model - Target IBmModel. Cannot be null
      progressMonitor - A progress monitor with cancelling capabilities. Cannot be null
